Flue gas desulfurization gypsum dehydration project

1. Project Background:
In the wet flue gas desulfurization (WFGD) system of a national large-scale thermal power plant, continuous and efficient solid-liquid separation is required for the gypsum slurry produced.. The existing dehydration equipment has problems such as low filter cake degree, easy clogging of filter cloth, high energy consumption, and poor on-site environment, which restrict the commercial utilization of by-product gypsum.

II. Challenges and Needs:

Large processing capacity, requiring continuous and stable operation.

The moisture content of the filter cake should be less than 10% to meet the quality standards for gypsum resource utilization (such as making gypsum boards).

The equipment needs to have excellent corrosion resistance and anti scaling characteristics.
